The Eagles may be glad to be rid of Terrell Owens and all of his baggage. But, there is no question their receiving corps is a little thin. So, they took a chance today on trading for former first round draft pick
Donte Stallworth.
The Saints drafted Stallworth out of Tennessee with 13th pick overall in the 2002 draft. Known as a somewhat inconsistent at times, Stallworth did put up decent numbers for a weak Saints offense. He's hit double figures in touchdowns in three of his four pro seasons, and although he's no T.O., will extend the field a bit for Donovan McNabb. Overall, not a bad move for Philadelphia even with giving up linebacker Mark Simoneau and a fourth-round pick.
